Laminated MDF consists of a thin layer of synthetic material. This layer or laminate generally has different patterns like wood grain etc. through a printing process and are then attached to the MDFs. The laminates not only have a smooth and shiny finish but ae also more resistant to heat and scratches which is why they are often installed from practicality point of view.
