Frosted is referred to translucent, cloudy and semi-opaque glasses which are made so by sandblasting or acid etching clear glass slabs. Besides the usual processes of sandblasting, frosting can also be achieved by the application of vinyl films, photo resistant films and canned frosting sprays on the surface of clear sheet glass. Frosted glasses are quite popular and are widely used to enhance aesthetics and achieve visual privacy and obstruction.
