Coloured glasses or stained glasses are manufactured with tints of colours in them. They are manufactured using different mineral elements and oxides during the manufacturing process. Copper oxides are often used to produces ruby, blue, or green colors. Cobalt is used for most shades of blue. Chromium and iron oxides are used for green shades.
